The rest of it is just blend garbage, most of it doesn't even sound good under electric sound, and yet 2-3 tracks of heavily autotuned vocals at the same time somehow make things even worse.

On god might be their worst song bc what the hell is Julian doing, it feels like a conscious self sabotage of the band's legacy. It feels like he PURPOSELY wanted the autotune to sound as bad as possible

Got better after a few listens. It's not a banger , but it ain't that bad. I expect many people to be mad about autotune but honestly, comparing to the voidz, its presence is really minmal.
The sound actually sets them back to late 00's era I'd say, and Julian doesn't sound passionate about it at all.

It's a nice album with a truly unique charm and we gotta respect that

I didn't have any expectations for it since the last album was mid and the first few singles weren't really bops, but it's turned good in the end and even the aforementioned songs fit well it the whole picture.
It get's kinda boring towards the end with these slow and etherial ballads which aren't bad but ain't great too, but over all I enjoyed it very much.

Damn what was that?
A near perfect record where the band sounds the most mature they ever did. I really liked the arrangements and overall balance of the record, it's neither too loud nor too low-key, neither too electronic nor too ricky.
It really is a crime that their 3rd LP is rated the lowest, the duo is being in a flow state from front to back.

Huge improvement comparing with Vol. 1, for me it's like a transition record for the band that is searhing for their unique sound, and boy they be getting close

A much more moodier release comparing to the last album, which is partially being a problem since the bands is stepping down from its catchy production towards more soothing sounds, which is fine, but the transition is rather too harsh.

Dorian Electra is exploring EDM now and its going much better than on Fake Denim, it's a new direction for them and i respect it, there are some things to work on, for example if this song was longer it would've felt much more polished and complete

Y'all are probably smoking bamboo the way y'all are glazing this song. Besides really neat production i can't catch chemistry between all the languages the song is sung in. And while Bjork's part doesn't really add any emotional deepness to the song, yves tumor just straight up ruins the song with his screams that doesn't even match the lyrical style of first two singers AT all. At the end you feel grateful that this mess has ended.

New guitarist lady brings A LOT of fresh sound into the band and overall the songs fell more well-put together, also i feel like this is a perfect album to get into MG for newcomers

Yeah, that was not what I expected.
I liked the singles, all of them, in my opinion, the freshest Kevin sounded since currents or even lonerism, but the rest of the album... well, as long as i wanted them to be as fresh as the singles are, unfortunately, can't stand up to the singles. Most of them are just soulless, colourless beats with some mourning vocals put on it. There's even this song "oblivion" which is so boring I genuinely wanted it to end as soon as possible.
