My journey through Jazz music - Album #7:
Quite liked this one. I was feeling exhausted and this record really re-energized me. Everything is played top notch and I like that you can hear them talk to each other during some of the tracks, the whole thing is really warm.
My journey through Jazz music - Album #6:
The strings kinda annoy me. There is no weight to it and I find the whole album a bit dull because of that. The saxophone work is great though but I can't really grasp it because of the annoying background.

I like the more exotica kind of sound. Great but a little bit repetitive towards the end. (Manteca is awesome!)

I had the biggest smile on my face listening to this album, I just find the whole exceptionally heart warming. It's really short though :(
My journey through Jazz music - Album #3:
I'm rather disappointed with this one. I find the background boring and the piano play (which is still nice) didn't really transport me.
The bass on "Caravan" is amazing though.
