A nice, short and sweet album just above 30 minutes. This album has a lot of good to decent songs, it's really his most consistently good album, probably due to it's short runtime.
It's good techno music, I just feel like some songs go longer than they need to be, like "We Are the Music Makers" and "Actium". I just end up getting bored listening to their monotony, which I didn't get from "Tha", that song was more relaxing and interesting. It's got some good bangers though, like "Xtal", "Green Calx", "Heliosphan" and "Ptolemy".
Banging beats. Nothing too special or notable other than the first track.
Pretty decent EP for Richard's first ever official release. It's got some pretty neat bangers like 'Entrance To Exit'.
A great predecessor to MHTRTC. This EP has a very good set of tracks even including the MHTRTC highlight, "Turquoise Hexagon Sun", before it was on MHTRTC.
This album has a good structure with neat interlude tracks and full ones that sort of creep me out. MHTRTC is still better in most ways but this album is good at haunting me.
An amazing experience from the first to last track. This is the best way to listen to this album, in it's complete form. The expanded edition adds '#19' or 'Stone In Focus', an essential Aphex Twin track. It also adds 'th1 [evnslower]', a hauntingly beautiful track that spans to 11 minutes. So much of these tracks are so unique from each other, it's an overall amazing journey that this album takes you through.
Pretty good album. Some highlights like Turquoise Hexagon Sun, Olson and Smokes Quantity but some lowlights like Rue The Whirl.
