for a britpop album all of the choruses here minus a few have a LOT of weight to them; theyre VERY anthemic sounding. It makes for really good ear candy throughout the duration of this record. Some tracks simply just don't do much interesting to warrant my attention, notably the opening 2. "underwear" is a special case but the reason its unenjoyable to me isn't the same, but it becomes really obvious when you listen to it how something of that vein could turn me of. I really like the weird spoken word passages where jeremy sounds like he's stumbling over himself and speaking whatever comes to his mind (WHICH GIVEN THE CONTEXT OF THE RECORD IS PRETTY HORNY USUALLY) and while every song one of these passages is on is much longer than the others, the maniacal-ness of it makes me not mind it all, i mess with oddball shit like that. Overall a really really great record with some spots that i could do without
