This album gets a 70/100 from me
don’t get me wrong, some of the instrumentals are really on point like, genuinely impressive. but here's the thing
the overall vibe makes me feel like tyler the creator reincarnated as a hong kong musician
you know, that blend of quirky, bold production with a kind of Cantopop-infused, city-pop atmosphere? It’s a weird but interesting mental image
78/100
which is actually fine for me, because the chopped and screwed style of the music is perfect, it gives it that hazy vibe i really enjoy and the beat is spot on too
so overall it works for me even if it’s not a perfect score.
this album honestly deserves a 75/100. it really gives me the same kind of vibe as Everywhere at the End of Time, but like, as if it were made by a hip-hop or rap artist.
pretty wild...
so, like, once again, this album just keeps using the same beats over and over again...
and you know what the next surprise is? he even throws in some kind of style that feels totally wrong, like, it just doesn’t fit at all, and i’m sitting here thinking, what the hell is that? honestly, it is terrible man, and I’m sorry, but I just can’t get behind it.
35/100, this album is bad. and i hope his next drop of the album will be better...
to me, this album feels pretty mid, honestly...
like, it’s not terrible or anything, but the whole thing kind of drags because every track seems to rely on the exact same beat over and over again, and after a while, it just gets boring, so...
i will give it a 58/100, yep...
