This thing is painfully mid. It just sounds like everything was mushed as one entity and not thoroughly or intentionally pieced together. Like some of the vocal samples/passages add nothing musically to the song, or even to the VIBE of the song. Similarly, some of the melodies tend to stagnate and overstay their welcome with nothing really catching or interesting keeping my attention. The only song I kept in my liked was All You Children. Overrated

def some bangers on this! my first time listening to slayyyter and I mostly wasn’t disappointed. a few of these songs just didn’t go anywhere I found too engaging but the ones that were amazing were quite good.

I’ve listened to this project at least 30 times, and every time it gets better. you put crack in this mf mr. marcus
this is like the best combination of danceable pop, alt R&B and almost post-punk like aesthetics in one tracklist. I didn’t get it on the first listen but now I’m hooked.
I normally don't enjoy Dry Cleaning but this song is my one exception. Her voice works perfectly with the background on this one.
