CONNECTION

It’s ok. Im ok. Onew delivers a generic kpop project that didn’t impress me much and wasn’t really a cool listen. The production is the main highlight here, as it brings a r&b vibe to the project. The problem is that the melodies, his vocals and the lyrics are quite generic and are not really different from the pop scenario. In winner(in which I didn’t like), I felt that he was inspired by artist from the pop scenario as Taylor Swift, which melodically sounds really similar to say the least. To sum up, the main problem here is how generic it is, in which it can compromise the experience of who’s listening. I sincerely think this is kinda meh…
