OVERALL…
This EP kinda sounds repetitive, shows that Wes is kinda lost in relation to his production, vocals, creative and lyrics choices but this is still really enjoyable. Well, this indie rock style that he incorporate here in this project is a genre where songs, imo, usually sound really repetitive and this can’t escape this pattern. The production is really ok to meh and is not really different, is really basic and doesn’t add much to the genre scenario. Lyrics are also not really well thought or written tbh, Vocal delivery is almost decent, he has for sure potential, atmosphere, the concept and the ideas are also almost decent and are probably the highlight of the project. Talking about the track of the project, which is “Splinter”, he presents a strong indie rock track that sounds really enjoyable and shows the peak of each music aspect present on the whole project. The experience is great, enjoyable not boring at all, so with that said… I think this is worth listening, I reccomend SO GO STREAM THIS EP FROM THIS GUY ON THE CORNER WITH THIS GLASSES THAT TOTALLY DOESN’T MATCH THE VIBE OF THE ALBUM, and yeah, this cover is really great tbh… HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
