Jeff Rosenstock, the artist that made my 5th favorite album of all time, its here with his most recent album, "Hellmode". I've been knowing mr. Rosenstock for some time and everytime I listen to songs from him, I expect that crazy and chaotic energy present all over "WORRY.". And for my surprise, this project tries something more chill, calm but chaotic at times. This doesn't have that pop punk energy from "WORRY." anymore, this feels more indie than usual, more calm than usual. And I guess it also still worked; not as great as it did on his best album to date but it worked. Jeff's vocals are something that I appreciate a lot and this project is just another proof of the beauty of it. His rough tone sets a whole vibe to this project, with the quite hollow elements present on the instrumentals. At least, when bringing something more differnt than usual, mr. Rosentock brought his most unique project yet between the ones I listened to. It really stands out for its different vibe and I guess that this "mode" that Jeff acquired, leaves this project this way. All in All, Jeff never misses, am I disappointed? Sure, as only 2 songs were 100s but this album is great and it's awesome to get to know a bit more about Jeff's music each day goes by! #amazingtrollstroupbtw.
