Good stuff but sadly only like, half of the musical was recorded by this cast. Had to be there n shit to hear all of it I guess.
John Legend was good in this, as a performer. Hiring someone who can’t do crazy high pitched vibrato to be Jesus in this play is always gonna be a little disappointing but his performance was still good, preconceptions aside. Also the production itself goes fucking HARD. No wonder the brought out a whole ass DvD for it because it’s cinematic as fuck. A better Jesus Christ Superstar movie than both the actual Jesus Christ Superstar movies.
I’m not entirely sure what to do with the information that I will be reincarnated as a duck or ape but cool
