I can't help but like Thug's irreverence towards the great part of the industry (mainly at the time this record came to light). In no way I would say that he is a lyrical genius (because he most definitely isn't) but mumble rap was never about lyrics. In my opinion, mumble is about making your voice an instrument in order to sell a vibe and Young Thug does it with perfection. Even tho, the album hit me as a "hit mixtape", it's made with such skill that I don't really care.

Even tho the majority of the songs sounds the same with "bass rave" base, I enjoy this work still. Something about the crazy production and the experimental vocals by m1v just sell me his vibe so well. FED, stay with me and motorola are the best. This album is a great alt techno emo example.

Above average breakcore. But lacks originality. "Rave" and "Yama" are the best when it comes to sell me it's vibe, even tho "Yama" sound just like the previous "804". In a more positive note, I really feel like Mayo could mess a bit more with the synthesizers, those were my favorite part from this joint.

very good breakcore, unfortunately there is not many different ideas from the main breakcore chain. When there is, they have a poor execution as in "I want to eat your heaert couse I love you". However, "taste of blood", "you're my friend now" and "overthinking" could sell me it's vibe.
