As mixed as it gets for me, honestly. Some pretty high highs and some pretty disappointing lows. Despite all this, I think Teezo shows again that his ability as a singer is still incredibly valuable.
A guilty pleasure I gotta admit. Is it the best shit ever made? No. Is it inspired, fun, and engaging, if a little repetitive? Absolutely. I fuck wit it heavy.
Been a fan of Julie for some time, and this album shatters expectations. Evolving their sound, there is a clear attention to detail and focus on being a better and more collected band. Very excited for whatever they make next.
My first and only endeavor into The Garden. A really enjoyable short piece of punk and experimental sounds, but ultimately, it leaves the project a bit forgettable. Still worth your time.
The GOAT makes a banger record that is as introspective as it is catchy. I find myself coming back to this album every few months for one reason or another.
In a departure from many of his usual sounds, we see Dawson change tones quite a bit. While he pulls them off incredibly effectively, he lacks cohesion, and I would like to start seeing him solidify something to work off of in the future.
Going into Dawson's harsher sounds, we see him embrace his alternative inspirations. A powerful new experience from Dawson but still not as full or as complete as I'd like.
A bit all over the place, but that works to its benefit. A fun and energetic album that bleeds into genres.
No one's doing it like Weatherday. I've been a Sputnik fan for some time and seeing them evolve and forge a strong sound really is what makes this album. Lyrically, musically, even as a storyteller, they are far better and manage to surpass my expectations coming off of Come In. Please go give this album a try and dive into Weatherday's shit.
