this album is tied in many ways with it's predecessor for me. It's a very pretty album with some amazing song writing. The band harmonizes well, and they keep a very pretty musical styling from back to front.

I think this bands apex album, is a surprisingly weak showing. ELO is a band that really shines when it comes to writing great singles, and they really struggle with complete albums. It's well produced and it's very pretty. But there's something it lacks, and it's hard to put it to words.
This is an album, that I wish had been discovered, but I *really* understand why it wasn't. It's kind of a clunky album with a lot of flaws. But in the same breath. It's so much fun for what it is. It's remarkably similar to early Pink Floyd, probably by design.
Hey we all hate each other. But we're also all banging each other. Let's make an album about that.
