wetdream by Willy Rodriguez is one of those albums that’s hard to pin down. The lyricism isn’t the kind that’s so profound it makes you cry on the spot but somehow, it still does (if you’re not a bozo, that is). Mount Eerie is more than just music; it’s an audial experience. At first, the album may not immediately catch your attention, but it grows on you the longer you listen. It requires patience and composure to truly feel the album. Once it “happens,” you realize it’s an absolute masterpiece. A word of advice: keep the volume slightly low, as the record contains some extremely loud instrumental sounds.
