I feel like I heard the demo of the album everyone else heard. Like it has the skeleton of a fantastic project that needs to go through a few more drafts before it’s done.
great album, but ending with a actually fucking credit roll is so fucking funny bro.
Cool to see this get some love after a a bit. Like shoegaze and kinda emo vibes, this is a neat project for you!
I'd been meaning to check Gang Starr out for a while now, but finally did so when forda38_tire recommended it to me here, and boy did I enjoy it! While this didn't get a 10/10 score, It's important to say that this album probably has more 10/10 songs on it than any of my actual 10's besides maybe Songs in the Key of Life.
This album kicks off very strong with the great You Know My Steez, which immediately hooked me with DJ Premier's production, which was surprisingly ... read more
200th rating!
I first heard brekence 5 or so years ago, and thought of him as just another untalented emo singer who really likes to use too many vocal effects, and is totally in love with themselves. I was wrong... he's all that but, he can produce sorta well. His voice (which is not sparse in this record) is like if Charlie Puth took high levels of testosterone and tried to be "experimental" with his production, but not TOO experimental, because god forbid he makes something ... read more

If it wasn't for the fact I find the absurdity of this tracks existence so amusing, and the whole song to just kinda be funny in its absurdity it would likely be much lower ... read more
Really cool concept for a song and lyrical exercise where he raps his life in reverse. The music video is amazing as well. While J. Cole isn't as amazing to me as others, I still look forward to seeing him finally dropping this highly anticipated record.
She asked for me to review this, but I didn't hold back. so idk.
It's cute. Not like really note worthy unless you're like really into Undertale / Deltarune like video gamey music (I'm not). It does have that cozy like shop vibe you find in some games, but the fact this is like less the 90 seconds long doesn't make it very memorable as a single or as a background track in a game.
TLDR: neat, but too short and too background music sounding.
