While I did like this album, I was a little underwhelmed by it. I think part of the issue was that I simply had inaccurate expectations. I came to this album after reading a review where someone compared it to Femme Fatale by Mon Laferte (one of my favorite albums of all time). These albums really couldn't be more different from each other. This whole album feels incredibly safe. There are some strong moments, but I also found myself wanting just a little bit. More vocal range, more ... read more
This album is very lush and beautiful. Unfortunately, most of the songs fall flat, feeling like empty suggestions of music.
The first two discs of this album are absolutely incredible, but it really takes a noise-dive in the Joyful Noise Version.
There are some really jaw-droppingly incredible moments in this album. But most of the songs simply fall flat. The growth from this album to This Music May Contain Hope is absurdly under-acknowledged. This definitely is not a bad album, but I will not be returning to it any time soon.
Tiene buena voz, pero el álbum es muy aburrido y no tiene ningún aspecto interesante o memorable.
It's good, but it can't compare to Femme Fatale and Autopética. It's hard to really appreciate this album when it's overshadowed so much by her more recent works.
I came here from Femme Fatale. I really like this album; Mon Laferte's vocal skills and lyricism are really impressive. However, I did feel like the album took a while to pick up steam and leave an impact. I will definitely be coming back to this album, because it feels like a work that will grow on me with time.
This album pushed my Spotify liked playlist past 1,000 songs. I wouldn't have wanted any other album to have that honor.

It's definitely a strong album, but I think her later works show more depth and intrigue.
A scam artist and AI sellout. What more could you want from Mr. Perfect Pitch? There is nothing clever about this album, and the entire project is incredibly cringeworthy, despite what Puth tries to say in the final track.

The album is overflowing with artistry and creative vision. There were many songs like "Life Boat" that really took time to land, but once they did, there was absolutely no question that they were showstoppers. This album feels like a breath of fresh air. I could really see this being aoty.
I enjoyed this album a lot more than I was expecting to. I had been putting it off for a while because psychedelia and I usually don't get along well, but it was such a beautiful and moving album about life, death, and memory. Unfortunately, I do think it started to drag and lose steem towards the end, but not enough to tank the album.
For a jazz album, the rhythm section was really boring. The vocals also left a lot to be desired.
Did anyone else think her voice sounded like Mabel Pines from Gravity Falls?
Yet another gorgeous and moving album from Natalia Lafourcade.
