Too safe in my opinion, even for a debut… There are a few interesting songs that i’ll come back to but when you make a 30 minute album and half of the tracks are already filler, it’s not gonna go over well. The fact that this is supposed to be her most acclaimed album when C,XOXO , just by direction alone, blows this out of the water. The album just overall lacks any type of risk to make it even interesting in the slightest bit, which makes me question who this album is ... read more
Her strongest record for sure. The way the songs are structured can be quite repetitive but on the flipside, i do appreciate how cohesive it is. I miss her sad girl anthems tho. I can also feel the absence of "Call my bluff" and "Better than I was" on the album as well. I think they should've definitely had placements on the album to round it all out in favor of maybe "No I'm not in love", which may be the biggest filler song on the project.
it's really catchy, but the song kinda misses the mark with how short it is. it just feels like an unexplored idea, just too short to be anything.
really like the added tracks!! the project as a whole really grew on me with the deluxe released.
I like the direction more than Nasty, i think this was a pretty good 2nd single choice.
I really like Taylor but i was quite disappointed with the album when i had initially listened. With the album having no real direction (although i enjoyed the second half much more than the first), i walked away liking around 10 songs, and that's not good at all for a 31 track album. Had this album been a normal 13 track album with more songs from the Anthology, i feel like this could've been a decent record without all the filler songs that could've been on Midnights.
Honestly, i don't think it's as bad as everyone is making it out to be. I appreciate the different direction and the era Camilla gave us.
Really enjoyed the album, although the album kept getting kinda repetitive at points, the fresh hooks really kept the listening experience alive for me.
Perfect, i feel like there is nothing more to say. Love a cohesive, short album
she gave us the 'single soon' formula once again, just a bland pop song... i wish she would've done something different with the song, seeing how her previous single was received.
this album was quite weird. i liked like 13 songs which is great in itself, but for a 22 track album, it's quite weak. i just feel like there's a bunch of filler.
the best thing i've heard from her so far. she always had some catchy stuff but i feel like this is the best that she has ever sounded. considering this kind of a diss record, it's exceptionally good
i remember this album had a chokehold on me during may/june. i especially loved the unusual tracklisting, with many interludes.
this was troye's first record that i had listened to, i went in with no expectations, and i was blown away.
