Can I just say Spaceship and Slow Jamz are some of the most smooth and relaxing tracks ever created
I miss Prime Kanye so much
HOLY SHIT THIS IS SO PEAK
Finally listened to this because of a friend’s recommendation and oh my god, this was incredible. RIP to Matt, wish we could’ve gotten more music.
Now I have to go to listen to their other albums and the Geordie solo project.
It’s not that bad, like Pricey, Crocodile Tearz and Trae the Truth are bangers, but it also has HYB, Fever and 7 Minute Drill, which are some of Cole’s worst songs.
Sometimes I think that some of the best songs from this album, clouds and the songs from the Birthday Blizzard EP could’ve just been combined to make a really great compilation or mixtape that came out pre-Fall Off.
This album is freaking amazing.
Thank you Madlib for this production, and thank you Freddie for this elite rapping.
Obviously, I’ve seen the hate that this album gets online. Many act like it is just a terrible project and think it’s overrated.
Now, I don’t think that, however, I do think that this is the weakest Kendrick album. It’s just too overly commercial, which yeah you could say about his other releases like GKMC, but with the commercial songs (stuff like BDKMV, Money Trees, Swimming Pools), they were songs with meaning behind the verses. How am I meant to make a review of one of my all time favs?
Before discovering this album, I knew JID as that one guy from Imagine Dragon’s Enemy (carried the entire song imo). I knew he had released projects that I listened to like DiCaprio 2 and Never Story, which I both enjoyed (given both 80s), but they weren’t exactly massive standouts in 2017 and 2018.
So when I decided to listen to this album like 2 or 3 years ago, let me tell you, I was shocked. JID had created one of the ... read more
Meet Your Padre and Wah Gwan Delilah have met their match with Cheetah Print
Edit: Well that was a waste of my time
Edit 2: This album ruined my post one day after birthday vibe
I used to cringe watching this guy glaze Carti and over-dramatically cry to Frank Ocean and Tyler, now I get to cringe watching him try and make music.
Worse diss than Heart Part 6 and Actually Romantic
So I just listened to this underground album called Illmatic. The rapping is amazing by this guy called Nas (doubt any of you have heard of him), and the production is like, some of the best I’ve heard by this guy called DJ Premier.
Just wanted to help other people discover this underground album, think it’ll be considered a classic, but I don’t know we’ll have to wait and see
Of all the rappers to make a psychedelic rock album, it’s freakin Yachty, and of course, he was the one to do it incredibly well.
