I love Zara - My score would probably be lower if I didn't.

I take more offense to something that is boring compared to something that is bad. This track makes the mortal sin of being sounding like ChatGPT is responsible for both the production and lyrics. I hope that's the case, and they are just not telling us.

Is Style (Taylor's Version) vastly inferior to the original? yes.
Is the mixing off on some of the other tracks too? yes.
With that out of the way...

The original 1989 is among my 5 favorite albums ever. I'm am actually a bigger fan of 1989 than I am of Taylor herself [only by a little]. My score for 1989 for both the whole and the sum of its parts is a perfect 10/10.

This is not bad at all. I'm probably subconsciously adding a few points because my low expectations were exceeded by quite a bit.

There's something missing emotionally that was present in the og, but good music is good music.

PS, the Story of Us OG is a 9 to me. The riffs on this one are disappointing comparatively. That's where the rating of that track comes from.
