Look, Laura Marling is one of my favourite artists alive right now and her last album is in my top 10 so there really wasn't a reality where I didn't like this. And yeah, it's absolutely stunning. Her guitar playing is subtly brilliant, her voice is sublime, but I'm always in such awe at the production choices. For such a stripped back album, it's consistently profound and beautiful. I really hope this album's reception leads to more people listening to her catalogue, because it's remarkable.
