everything about this album is pure perfection. the string arrangements, the fact that she speaks 13 languages in this album, and her interpretation of morality and lust—there’s nothing more to say about this. not to mention the transitions between each song, again, perfection. fav has to be berghain, made me cry and give me hella goosebumps every time I listen but in the best way possible idfk

I love how laufey incorporated jazz into this one, the lyricism has really resonated with me and definitely a bunch of other people. she captures love and heartbreak so well compared to her earlier music in my opinion, and really influenced jazz and bossa nova onto newer artists

not mention her cover of misty was beautiful and it definitely compares to ella fitzgerald’s
