Took a few attempts before I could even give it a full listen, but it was rather worth it in the end.
This is the first studio release from the band after parting ways with their frontman Isaac Wood, so the band had to reform in a way. I was so wrong about this album...
Originally after my first listen I give this a 45. But wow, this album is actually a modern pop classic. It is fantastic, utterly fantastic. It's such a powerful record with such brave lyricism and such a gorgeous voice driving it. Yet, at the exact same time it's such a fun, silly, and whimsical album. Really reminds me of Kate Bush.
