The production isn’t… that bad. The issue is that on top of the bedroom pop production there are lyrics so unbearable at some points that certain songs become unlistenable. An argument can be made that excluding or ignoring the lyrics the album improves, but that is only seeing the project for part of it rather than it as a whole. its very very good its very very very good
some jazz fusion stuff wears very quickly, but the melodies leading every song here holds it all together and that makes every song memorable (and incredibly awesome)
i don't hate it as much as other people.. however, the break to explain the lyrics is possibly the worst and corniest thing i have ever heard

the more i think about it and the more i listen the more i adore every detail of every song. i've had this below an 100 for so long for no reason when realistically i have no problems with any of the songs.
