I really hope this album becomes extremely popular so that people start making shitty pop covers of these songs, including APT. Then it could rack up a billion views, and I can’t wait for the inevitable feature-length film—because nothing says “cinematic masterpiece” like a rush job based on a catchy tune. It later on wins an Oscar and an Academy award.
guys we are getting some great east coast hip hop albums recently, but it seems that nobody bats an eye. Albums like these remind me how uplifting rap albums can really be. Truly life-changing,
Unbelieveably upset rn, thought this album was right up my alley and honestly it seemed it was set up to be my AOTY, which is why I waited to listen to this until the end of the year. But now, after listening to it I feel kinda let down. Of course this album is great but I thought this would make me feel heard, but to me it just sounded like a good pop punk album with some bangers.
LONG Review: One thing for sure is that they had fun with this project. This is Karmamob's debut, and it could have been better, but there are lots of fun and creative ideas in this LP to unpack. Queen of the Jungle but she's derivative and boring throughout the entire runtime. Never found myself vibing to a single song.
