An interesting blend of sludge, doom and dark wave. On my first listen through I both loved how heavy it went and felt like there were areas that instead of 'creating space', swung more towards feeling empty and lacking. I think this one will click after a few more listens but I enjoyed the atmosphere it created, and the elements go well together. It is quite a unique album, giving me some Hangman's Chair vibes in places.
One of the first new albums I listened to this year and it has held steady in my top ten to date (End of July)
The emotive but yet (dare I say) 'Catchy' nature of the songs stay with you long after listening, and keep bringing you back for more. I found myself playing melody lines over and over in my head weeks after listening to it the first time round.
