Fuck man, I have been sleeping on this record. From what I heard about it, it is exactly what I was expecting, which usually is a bad thing, but damn this is the exact opposite. I have heard nothing but great things about this album, and now I have heard nothing but great things ON this album.
I have never heard a song like Movies ever. The closest thing I can relate it to is Spellling, but this came before that, so there really was no comparison for me to make (though I have not listened to ... read more
This album is getting too much hate. It's not great, it might not even be that good, but it's not bad, and anyone who says it is bad has not listened to his latest work, which is MUCH worse.
On this album, Eminem makes HEAVY use of AI to bring back previous voices in his career, which is interesting. Not many artists have sounded so different over the years as Eminem, so it is interesting that he is able to do this.
Now does he do it well? Kind of...

Singing is great
Production is pretty good (derivative, yet diverse)
Songwriting is pretty good
Little talking speeches are pretty cringe (don't attack me)
A fun way to describe this album is by showing who I think could have made each song!
1 Femininomenon - Charli XCX with Olivia Rodrigo screaming
2 Red Wine Supernova - Charli XCX
3 After Midnight - EMOTION style Carly Rae Jepsen (literally sounds like Warm Blood)
4 Coffee - Lana Del Rey
5 Casual - Early Taylor Swift (like late ... read more
The simplest way to describe this album is the product of if you gave an alien an hour to try to condense all of modern rage and trap into a bloated collection of tracks.
With most albums that can be deemed "bloated", there are usually some great songs and some bad songs, which can be skipped to your liking to create your custom album of choice.
However, this album falls into a different category of mid, one that, in my opinion, is worse than bloated. In this category, most, if not ... read more
Every song on this album is so precisely produced. No section on any song is exactly like another, and those that seem repetitive at least have a great rhythm to them. While Raveena does not bring too many new lyrical ideas to this album (besides, they are mostly devotional and about love for people and nature), the way these ideas are performed through immersive vocals and traditional Hindu instrumentals allows new ways to experience them--arguably, one of the best ways to do ... read more
When treated just as a collection of tracks, this album can seem weaker than Charli's previous releases. Quite a few tracks on this album are either underproduced (at least relative to her usual sound) or even ditch the Hyperpop aesthetic entirely. A lot of the songs on this album have some message to the listener based on Charli's first-person experience, which most of the time is masked behind a classic Hyperpop instrumental with wacky and industrial sound effects. With trying to balance a ... read more
Very Polarizing. Rarely on this album is there a mid track. They are either great, hardcore lyrics over classic Wu-Tang sounding beats, or they are phoned-in, sometimes overly horny anthems over cliche trap beats.
