Ténèbre - Terraform

Very heavy on the interludes, but I think that this chilled-dubstep/garage-aligned album is a very nice and better showcase of TÉNÈBRE's production and sound-design capabilities compared to techno (I'm just personally not a fan of techno)
The atmospheres here are honestly incredible, and it leads to a very immersive album. While I don't take intros/interludes/outros/etc. into account for my scores, they're still really good here as well (Just listen to Dawn. ... read more

Subp Yao - Flana

Very different for Subp Yao, but overall a consistently solid album with a chill late-night feel. Highs aren't too high but also not anything that doesn't work for me.

Favorite(s): Like Me, You Can Do, Styx, Gone (8/10)
Least favorite(s): Broken (7/10)

Feels a little short but that isn't really an issue.

Favorites: Family (9/10), Recollections, Better Days (both 8.5/10)
Least favorites: Dwelling, Carefree, Inharmonious (all 7.5/10)

Since then, it's been an album that I've found myself listening to again and again. Maybe not as a complete package, but there are definitely some gems here and individual tracks that I find to be very satisfying and replayable.
Each of the tracks' lengths seem a little bit short, and while they kind of are, they're so immersive and full of depth that I ... read more

ring noord - Wild Flowers

It's fine. Insane production quality like you'd expect but there isn't really anything that makes me want to listen to it again when Sleepnet's II EP exists.
