Decided to check it out cause it had some interesting writing and producing credits, but good GOD is everything here so derivative and void of anything noteworthy. I guess there's like two songs here that are passable - one of which being the one with Flume and JPEGMAFIA on it - but the rest are genuinely kind of bad.
I've never bothered to check Ed's solo work out, but this is pretty great! Super atmospheric and hypnotic, it really is a trip to listen through.
I discovered Tiffany Day last year through Instagram, and I thought she was pretty decent but not particularly amazing. Come 2026 and HALO releases. I think she's truly found her style here, and this album is one of the most consistently amazing I've heard in the genre.
It's certainly very unique. Unfortunately, only three songs land for me. The rest felt a bit too out there without actually doing much. Almost a bit performative.
