On All That Is Over SPRINTS bring plenty of noise, distortion and energy. Although sometimes the songwriting tends to be repetitive or even a bit lazy, some tracks do make up for it with its catchy choruses, surprising buildups and Karla's powerful singing voice. Favourite tracks are Something's Gonna Happen, Coming Alive and Desire.

In Écailles de Lune, Alcest bring some dark but solid blackgaze, loaded with plenty of distortion and atmospheric elements. Neige's vocals switch from surprisingly gentle and ethereal to the harsh ones you'd expect from this genre. Sometimes you may find his screams to be unintelligible, but don't worry that's just cause he's french.
