Not that bad...?
I was surprised that this album dropped at all and I was even more surprised that it actually didn't turn out like I thought it would. Most of the tracks are forgettable which is ok because I think the ones that are pretty good and the overall production on the album makes up for it. This album feels like a sort of like what Donda 2 was supposed to be, which is a continuation of ideas brought in the original album but a little more free. I would say that this is his best ... read more
This album is a masterpiece and it really shows. From what we heard off of 808s & Heartbreak and what we could see from the news, Kanye was in a dark place, with his mom dying, breaking up with Alexis Phifer, and the incident at the 2009 VMA's. Kanye's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" threw everything we knew about him out the window. What I think makes this album stand out most out of all of his albums is the pressure Kanye had on making this album as best as he ... read more
Smoother, more laid back tracks on this Kanye album. I think this really incapsulates a mix between what The College Dropout started and how Late Registration built off of it. I feel like the sentiment "but he made Graduation" really does work with best because I feel like Graduation is more of an album that everyone could like, not just Kanye ... read more
One of the best debut albums of any artist ever.

Kanye on this album is probably the best we see him, he's not overly cocky and stupid, he's kind of a nerd that's incredible at rapping, which I really ... read more
While I didn't rate this album as high as Bewitched, I would say this is my favorite album to listen to of all time. This album is literally banger after banger and I can't stress that enough. There are a few lazy songs here and there like Drive Slow, My Way Home, Crack Music, Addiction, and Celebration, but the amount of gems this album has more than makes up for it. Kanye here is witty, confident, and funny throughout the entire album, and the amount of features seen here directly ... read more
