Amazing album!! It really feels like Danny Brown's 'Don't Tap The Glass' , constant hits back to back with amazing production and performances by features.

Dave - The Boy Who Played the Harp

Album of the year. After recently falling in love with Dave's music, I was hyped for this album ever since it got announced. I'm writing this review at 5:30 AM after finishing the album after pulling an all-nighter till the album dropped at 4:30AM, and I can say, I don't regret it at all. Each song had so much emotion, no feature missed, amazing beats and was lyrically dense too. We're All Alone In This Together was a perfect album in my opinion, Dave has almost matched that ... read more

PARTYOF2 - AMERIKA'S NEXT TOP PARTY!

BANGERS ON BANGERS ON BANGERS
Jada's singing and SWIM's calm and lyrical rapping performances were incredible. I was bored on Friday after finishing the Tame and Ty album so I decided to tune in. This was my first time listening to any PARTYOF2 music and Track 2 'OUT OF BODY' was so fun and enjoyable that I had to finish the album.
FRIENDLY FIRE was a super fun listen with a rap battle taking place in the song itself which was a concept I had never seen before, SWIM's ... read more

GIVĒON - BELOVED

Very smooth vocals, this was great.
Favourite: TWENTIES - 10/10
Least Favourite: DIAMONDS FOR YOUR PAIN - 8/10

Zach Diamond - Basement Story
55

This LP has some good songs. I was surprised to see some heartfelt performances like on 8 Year Freestyle on this album but they were a pleasant surprise. Overall, it has quite a few mediocre tracks but its nonetheless an enjoyable listen.
Favourite: MVP - 8/10
Least Favourite: Gotta Know - 3/10

Tory Lanez - Alone At Prom
85

Alone At Prom has almost no skips. His voice was very smooth and soothing. This is a beautiful album.
Favourite: Lavender Sunflower - 10/10
Least Favourite: Pluto's Last Comet - 6/10

Doechii - Alligator Bites Never Heal
65

This Doechii mixtape was a good listen with many fun songs. She has a lot of talent and definitely deserves credit for this album, but her debut was nothing special.
Favourite: NISSAN ALTIMA - 8.8/10
Least Favourite: BLOOM - 5/10

Freddie Gibbs - Alfredo 2
82

Freddie Gibbs you have done it again. Another near-skipless album. Smooth flows and top notch beats, definitely an album of the year contender. Only issue was the slight repetitiveness towards the end. Otherwise, a great album!
Favourite: Ensalada - 10/10
Least Favourite: Jean Claude - 7/10

The Weeknd - After Hours
95

Deep storytelling, smooth vocals, overall very entertaining. The standout part of the album was the production, super ethereal and atmospheric. The story was also enjoyable and is definitely the best of the trilogy.
Favourite: After Hours - 10/10
Least Favourite: Escape from LA - 8.5/10

The Roots - The Tipping Point
85

The Tipping Point might be The Roots' most sonically pleasing album. This was a surprisingly great listen, I listened to this after finishing undun and Things Fall Apart thinking that it won't be able to match the heights of the other two albums, but, this album is probably up there with the rest.
Favourite: Somebody's Gotta Do It - 10/10
Least Favourite: Dum Da Da - 6/10

André 3000 - 7 piano sketches
70

Good listen, but im tired of the instrumental albums. We are all waiting for him to drop a rap album and he's definitely taking his time. Eitherway, 16 minutes of lush piano and an easy listen.
Favourite: bluffing in the snow - 8/10
Least Favourite: when you're a ant and you wake up in an awesome mood, about to drive your son to school, only to discover that you left the lights on in the car last night so your battery is drained - 3/10

J. Cole - 4 Your Eyez Only

Beautiful concept, deep songs. Ten songs with none of them being skips, without features J. Cole's most impressive conceptual work and definitely his magnum opus.

"fuck this album shit mama look what god made" legit makes me tear up

Favourite: Change - 10/10
Least Favourite: Ville Mentality - 7/10
