Wow, Freddie is on point with this album as well. This almost has no misses and Ice Cream is probably top 10 songs from him.

This album is so half-and-half. On some songs Nas is rapping amazingly but the beat is mid, and sometimes the complete opposite. However, some of the songs do pull off both well, for example, Nasty Esco Nasir is a super hard song. If they swapped some of the beats and Nas fixed up some of the lyrics on songs like My Story Your Story, this album would be another excellent addition to his catlalog

Very introspective and beautiful album. I loved the lyrical work done by Navy Blue and for my first listen of his catalog this was very promising and lived up to it. I will defo continue to listen to him.
