Holy absolute cinema. And to think that I thought 12 was amazing, this is next level. The production is lowkey incredible all the way through and I never thought I would be saying there is a MIKE and Westside Gunn collab but holy moly there actually is and it did not at all disappoint. I rlly wish the snippet he put on that instagram post made the cut for the album because it sounded incredible. There was a few other unreleased songs that I would’ve liked to have seen on this project but I digress. Still a great project and nothing short of what I’d expect from Earl. TOURMALINE, Live, and exhaust are my top 3 fav from the album so far.
Honestly didn’t expect this to be any good because these sequels often don’t go the way the artists intend them to. This project overall was super solid and consistent all the way through. You Ma Friend, George Porgy and Curtis May are 100% my fav songs off the record and I don’t regret giving it a listen on release night at all.
This is an amazing comeback album, I rlly don’t see how anyone can hate on this.
Wow just wow. Baldhead Gibbs you’re truly a top 3 rapper of all time. And as for Uncle Al, you’re truly a top 3 producer of all time. As much as I absolutely loved showbiz, GOLLIWOG, and Let God Sort Em Out, this is truly album of the year. Enough said…
