Charli xcx - BRAT
92

"brat" is charlie xcx's 6th (???) studio album and on first listen this didn't really click for me but after multiple listens i can say brat is a pretty fun album, it doesn't really flow that well but it's still very cohesive, this album is also kinda repetitive, the writing is intense at times and the production is great as well, and the second side is better than the first side...
favorite tracks: so i, rewind, everything is romantic, sympathy is a knife, girl so confusing, apple, ... read more

Knocked Loose - You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To
85

really cohesive, good riffs, and i like the vocals too, and the drumming is amazing too, but i cant help but feel like the songs blend, this is probably one of the best metalcore albums ive heard (im not a fan of metalcore)
Favorite tracks: moss covers all, blinding faith, the calm that keeps you awake, sit and mourn, dont reach for me

Childish Gambino - Atavista
76

the finished version of 3.15.20 is pretty good albeit a bit incohesive and it flows kinda weirdly too, the writing is good though, and the mix could've been louder too, i really like the production, this album is pretty chill and futuristic, glovers vocal performances are really great too...
favorite tracks: to be hunted, the violence, final church, human sacrifice, algorithm

Kamasi Washington - Fearless Movement
86

colourful release from kamsai washington, this album is amazing, the best way i can describe it is like looking at an art painting, this album has two sides a more vocal-focused side and a less vocal-focused side and i prefer the second, there isn't many bad things i can say about this album except for the fact that the flow is a little wonky...
favorite tracks: interstellar peace (the last stance), computer love, and asha the first, and prologue

J. Cole - Might Delete Later
20

AHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Beyoncé - COWBOY CARTER
78

Beyoncé ventures into country music and its surprisingly great... some tracks like 'Spaghetti,' 'Levi's Jeans, and 'Tyrant' feel a little underwhelming, Additionally, while some skits feel unnecessary, Beyoncé's attempt at country-pop leaves little to criticize....
Favorite tracks: MY ROSE, BODYGUARD, YAYA, DESERT EAGLE, SWEET ★ HONEY ★ BUCKIIN, ALLIGATOR TEARS, FLAMENCO

Future - WE DON'T TRUST YOU
73

Im just sorta indifferent on it, cool production i guess, good features, flows pretty well, my main problem is it gets pretty boring at times (especially the second half) and the writing is nothing special either...
Favorite Tracks: like that, type shit, young metro, fried (she a vibe)

edit: this is actually pretty good

Friko - Where we've been, Where we go from here
87

"Where We've been, Where we go from here" is the debut album from indie rock band Friko, this album features great production and emotional lyrics, the songs are very energetic with the exception of a few more mellow tracks, if you need a description for what the music sounds like just look at the album cover...
Favorite tracks: chemical, statues, crimson to the Chrome, where We've Been, Get Numb to it!

Mk.gee - Two Star & The Dream Police
74

Dreamy record from mk.gee, this album is good but there are some boring moments and the songwriting is pretty good albeit nothing special the soundscape is beautiful although the first half is better and more exciting than the second half and the vocals didnt really work with me

Yeat - 2093
82

2039 is Yeats best and most ambitious effort yet, this album has a very futuristic and cinematic sound, and the songwriting in this album is definitely an improvement from Yeats earlier work and the features are great, this album also has yeats best production.
favorite tracks: Lyfestylë, Stand On It, 1093, ILUV, Psycho CEO, If We Being Real.

Little Simz - Drop 7
71

Pretty good but feels kinda empty

4

Vultures 1 is the first album in a three-part series and it's bad. The production is alright and sometimes good but the mixing is ass and the lyrics are mostly shit. the lows are very low and the highs are somewhat low and most of the songs are very boring but burn is decent. not excited for VULTURES 2
Favorite tracks: BURN,

Nicki Minaj - Big Foot
0

“Why the f**k is you humpin' on a minor?” She just dissed her own husband on this

glass beach - plastic death
96

Lyrically and musically, plastic death is a big change from glass beach's debut. The songs are rather cryptic and j sings a lot better. As a whole, the sound on plastic death is amazing. Rather than the power pop sound you'd expect from glass beach, they replace it with a more progressive and artsy sound.
Favorite Track: puppy

21 Savage - american dream
65

This Is Kinda Disappointing, production is amazing though
Favorite tracks: red sky, dangerous, should've wore a bonnet, redrum

85

Great songs from Kali Uchis

"@ItsBraitho that's fair. I think this albums eclectic nature (this sounds really pretentious) is what makes this album appeal to me, but I can see why others don't really like that."
On Braithan's review of Tyler, The Creator - CHROMAKOPIA
"I think sticky and balloon fit perfectly in an album like this. Yes, this album is quite personal, but it's not the records only goal. I mean, it's pretty evident with it's title "chromakopia." Which basically means "lots of colours." This album isn't supposed to be a purely personal album, the album is supposed to show tyler at his most honest state"
