Sincerely one of the best P&G albums. The cover art is so unique and simplistic for its time, and the colors just make it look appealing to look at. The songs on here are truely one of Gordon’s best song-writing works, and the story telling on the self titled track is proving how amazing his writing is. Truly a emotional, yet breathtaking album by Randy Newman, and something that sounds totally different Tham 'Short people', and 'I Love LA'. The way that the songs capture different emotions as a piano rock song/album is really hard to capture. but yet again, he does it on spot.

In my option, The Gorillas could've done better. The album is to 'pop' for my liking, and even a bit to 'rap'. I miss when they were making rock albums, and not trying to fit into the 'popular music mold' that everyone is trying to do to get more of a younger audience.
