Utterly disorienting and weirdly psychedelic. Also uhm..what the fuck is "shitgaze"??! 😭

I'm already quite familiar with their other works like willyrodriguez and Midwestern Roadkill, so I was quite excited to see where this would go. The noise and overall melodies captured on this album are so delicious and catchy. Also notably trippy at certain points. I love this man's vocals. I loved them on "Wetdream" especially; and on Squee it's no exception. It works perfectly with the sound hes going for. The song "reality" is a great example. Batshit crazy vocals on there. While some of the vocals are somewhat lost in in the mix I can't help but appreciate it.

The last song on this album is really my only compliant. It was quite unlistenable for me personally. A lot of the melodies were buried on that song and I can't quite get into it. The mix in general on this album could have definitely been better but I'm not too bothered by it. It was just especially egregious for me on holy. Overall though, this album is right up my alley noise wise and I look forward to seeing where he goes from here.
