Muse - Showbiz

MY FAVORITE (MUSE) ALBUM

I made a review a while ago in which I said that Origin of Symmetry is the best Muse album. While it probably is for most people, Showbiz has since become my favorite album from my favorite band, making it my favorite album ! It's an acquired taste. You'd have to listen to most of the songs at least a few times to like them (or at least I did), except for like Unintended or something.

It's pretty much the best album of all time

Savannah - Oxygen

XTRATUNA - JACKIE'S BOX

This is awesome

Linkin Park - Heavy Is the Crown

It should say a lot about emptiness machine that this song managed to be a disappointment - it's pretty good but to me, the standard set by emptiness machine was so much higher. I'm still hyped for the album though 😈

Radiohead - OK Computer
90

Fine, this album's really good
I can't deny it anymore :/
Today is a day that I will not be contrarian on purpose

Weezer - Pinkerton
84

"Everyone's a little queer, oh, can't she be a little straight?" Isn't it crazy that Rivers Cuomo wrote produced and released that entire 4-minute track about a girl that wasn't even gay??? πŸ’€

The best Weezer album. (I don't actually know. It's the only one I've listened to.)

Every song on this is a banger except El Scorcho, I never understood why that song is the most popular because it's 4 minutes of straight mid and easily a skip for me ... read more

STOP THE GLAZING 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Bring Me The Horizon - Sempiternal

Bro's demons know how to swim πŸ’€

Sempiternal is the first Bring Me the Horizon album that I've listened to fully. It didn't do much for me originally but with more listens it grew on me. I think this album's silly; if you listen to it you'll probably experience the feeling of "what is this mf on about?" at least once or twice. I definitely experienced it and for me, it added to the album. It's just fun. Tell me you don't wanna just sing along to "MIDDLE FINGERS UP IF YOU DON'T ... read more

Set It Off - Duality
88

"Duality" is for the Duality between the BETA CUCKS who hate on this album because of brad and the GIGACHADS who enjoy it because it's actually fire

Set It Off is a band that's unfortunately hated by all the wannabe music critics and brad glazers who like to pretend they listen to Swans in their free time (they don't). It also happens to be my favorite band ^_^

In this review I will deliver two hot takes - this album is fire, and music is better enjoyed without a stick up your ass

Ricky Montgomery - Rick
55

Ricky Montgomery as a musician, singer, and songwriter is very talented. This album, however, feels so corporate, generic, and formulaic that it becomes the embodiment of mid.

There is no passion in this album. Well, there definitely is, but I don't feel it. It feels like Ricky was trying to pour his soul into the making of this album but was held back by the formula that like, 90% of these songs follow. This was made to be ear candy for pop culture, and I'm willing to say it succeeds in that, ... read more

Ricky Montgomery - Montgomery Ricky

He has a penis on his face guys!!!

Okay wow this album is full of radio songs and generally generic themes/sounds. Despite this, I really like Montgomery Ricky. In this album, Ricky manages to build on songs I'd find bland 90% of the time and actually make them into something worth listening to over and over and over and over and over again and

Overall this album is VERY good and easy to love, but quite formulaic and defined by a clear genre. This is not a bad thing, and, in my opinion, ... read more

Muse - Origin of Symmetry

The best Radiohead- I mean Muse album!

This is the best Muse album by a long shot, and that should say a lot about it considering Absolution is incredible. Zero bad or even mid tracks, zero skips, all killer no filler.

Good job on the high notes Matt Bellamy and good job on the masterpiece Muse! I sure do hope that you guys keep making albums as great as this and don't fall off ^_^

IDLES - Joy as an Act of Resistance.
30

Everything about this album is annoying. From the vocals to the general sound, to the message they're trying to push. People love Joy as an Act of Resistance but it's not for me πŸ’€

Muse - Absolution
92

9/11 was bad. This album's pretty good.

It's commonly known that Matt Bellamy made this album just to divert everyone's attention from the fact that he did 9/11. Even keeping this in mind, however, this album goes super hard. It's a shame that he had to cause a national tragedy for it, though; and it's a shame that he went on to cause more comparably bad national tragedies in the future (such as releasing Will Of The People)

Linkin Park - Meteora
80

One of my friends twerked to Breaking the Habit, can you believe that? That's like flossing at a funeral

Meteora came out on my birthday, so I'm literally obligated to like it. Even if it weren't good, I'd still gaslight myself into thinking that it is. Thankfully, this album is great, so I won't need to do that.

I honestly think the writing is great and Chester Bennington as a vocalist was truly one of a kind. This album doesn't even display his full potential, but it's still so awesome to ... read more

Mindless Self Indulgence - If
64

What would my dad do if he caught me listening to this?

It has some good tracks and I don't dislike it like most people, but I don't think it's a GOOD listening experience as a whole, especially with how boring (yes, MSI, boring) it can get towards the end. But people are hating WAY too much!!

P.S. I don't care about the lyrics. They're funny.

Set It Off - Horrible Kids
90

I think this is easily Set It Off's second best record. While it may have some cringe emo lyrics that were written by baby Cody Carson, if you're able to move past that, this EP can be great. Third Wheel and Missing you are, in my opinion, 10/10s and all the other songs are great.

Where the new Set It Off albums fall a little flat occasionally, this record has exactly what I love about Set It Off, and it showcases it nonstop. The songs flow intensely, Cody's vocals are great and it's ... read more

Gross and horrible album made by a gross and horrible person, someone kick these people off the stage

> Say what you want about Backmask, but it achieved its goal of making me want to kill myself!

> Boomin' is the part of the album where it starts to become completely unbearable, and I'd argue that's pretty unfortunate considering it's the 3rd song of the album πŸ’€

Mother Mother - Inside
42

Every Mother Mother album is different, they love playing around with genres and different sounds. This time, it seems they decided to go for something best described as 'bland, boring, and uninspired'.

This album works as background music, and, even then, I have better things to listen to in the background. The songs aren't particularly offensive to my ears, and if I were a diehard Mother Mother fan I could try to justify this album, but the truth is simple - this album just does not have ... read more
