Listening to this album ten years after it's release is kinda cool. But since it was released in 2014, some songs *do* give off very 2014 energy. HOWEVER. There were a lot of songs off this album that I really really liked. I like how literally earthy Hozier's lyricism is--he frequently uses images of the earth or blood or animals in the songs on this album.
