Found out about this band through Captain Beyond (both have the same drummer, the one and only Bobby Caldwell!!!) and waow this album is just pure awesomeness from the start till the end

I may rate this lower if it doesn’t impress me in the future but holy moly (haha song reference) Nicky Hopkins was such a great addition the piano is god damn amazing on this one 🙏🙏🙏

I always love it when Zun breathes new life into the songs he made for the PC98 games. I suppose it only hits hard because Im a Touhou fan but god is Eternal Shrine Maiden just a beautiful track... but my favourite one is Enigmatic Doll because uh... it just stuck with me. That song's originally from another series of games ZUN made called Seihou Project, and even more forgotten...

You can tell this is just really heavy blues
I hate to be that person who says “Oh Black Sabbath didn’t invent heavy metal there were other bands that were heavier like Blue Cheer” but like, I kinda agree that they just popularised the form, which is well, pretty influential itself
I like the jamming
Also just wanna mention, Tony Iommi’s guitar solos, mwah, never misses 👌👌👌
