EDIT: This is a masterpiece and it is SO good. Drag Me Under still doesn't really catch me as much but all the other tracks are honestly incredible songs.
After listening to TMBTE and TPWBYT, I can say Sundowning definitely helped Sleep Token establish their style to expand upon with subsequent releases.
Is it perfect? Not at all.
Is it bad? Absolutely not.
There are a couple tracks that don't hit for me as much, like for example Dark Signs or Sugar, but I can definitely find stuff that I like about every single track.
My favorite here is definitely The Offering but Blood Sport really really hits home really hard.
Overall this album is good and it laid out a strong foundation for the band.
