IDK - e.t.d.s. A Mixtape by .idk.
99

This has to be one of my favorite albums of all time. Firstly the graceful progression from each song is astoundly amazing, i barely knew whether it was a beat swicth or a completely new track. Secondly i like his underlying tones of being in prison, love, heartbreak, and lust; he really tries to tell wondeful story with each of these themes. Thirdly i love how IDK dosen't really try anything majorly different but still makes something this captivating with the skills he already uses.

J. Cole - Born Sinner (Deluxe)

This album is great, it's just missing something.

Amaarae - roses are red, tears are blue — A Fountain Baby Extended Play

Great project, just one song felt off from the vibe of the EP

I really see her vision in this project, every track is nothing but consistent. It has this psychedelic-Afro pop vibe in it. The last couple songs were a bit of a low to me, but in all was a great album.

IDK - BRAVADO + INTiMO

This album has some decent tracks and is a thoughtful, concept hip-hop album with really good production and an interesting contrast between confidence and vulnerability (BRAVADO + INTiMO) i really don't see this contrast much in the album aside from the names of some of the tracks. I don't love every track but it has some good ones.

Vince Staples - Dark Times

One of my favorite albums of all time, this— if feel is one of his career defining albums. There's so much lyrical depth in this album that really expresses his vision for this album with tracks like Little Homies the chorus on this track "Life hard but I go harder" is the real highlight of this album. This album should be rated higher and than it is already.

Vince Staples - Big Fish Theory

This is one of my favorite albums of all time and it's what brought me to love Vince staples . His use of experimental beats like in Alyssa interlude or SAMO are really what brings the album together and let's not forget his lyricism in fast paced tracks like BagBak and Yeah right are really what makes him shine as an artist. Overall this album is one of the greats and deserves to be overrated as an artist. But Dark times > Big Fish Theory

Samara Cyn - backroads

To be honest I tried listening to the album bit couldn't get through it all, so my rating dosen't hold a lot of weight so don't get mad at me. I feel like this EP shows her potential as an artist and will be a referenced EP is she ever blows up and becomes more mainstream.

This album has some good tracks like Hellz Angel and Fancy, I like the fusion of Afro pop and psychedelic flow of it all. This project really shows her deviation from normal Afrobeats music even though she's Ghanian. I'm very picky about my music but this album has a lot of good tracks that I like and are on repeat constantly.

Tory Lanez - Alone At Prom

This album is immaculate I’ve listened to it multiple times already and It speaks to me so much, I just feel like he could have added some form of connection between songs, making them feel woven together. It is a bit repetitive tho.

Fav tracks: Midnight interlude, plutos last comet
Least fav track: lavender sunflower
