Haven't been the biggest fan of the rollout of this EP up until this point, so my expectations going in weren't the highest (despite Level Days being a very solid debut LP, and his 2021 singles both being very good); however, I'm very happy to say that this is actually a really solid EP after the kind of middling output that Conro had last year, and one of the singles has even grown on me!

Hypnotized: 7.5/10 Has a lowkey Ellis vibe, seeing him kind of going back a little to his electro house roots as well. Lyrics are extremely throwaway and doesn't really have a good hook on it.
Just Like You: 6.6/10 Already said my thoughts on this one, but I really do feel like this is just rehashing old ground yet again without any really compelling songwriting on it. Boslen feature isn't the best, but it's at least a lash of something different here. Also sounds very much like it should have had an extra movement in it
Backseat Lovers: 7.6/10 It's using a very overused (but good) chord progression, but actually has some pretty dark production which I really like and feel like it plays into the EP's name a bit more. Wish it was longer tbh.
My Girl: 7.4/10 I love me some deep house, hell yes. Just wish it sounded a little better thought out, because the hooks and production here are just somewhat off.
Every Little Thing: 6.8/10 More Ellis vibes, but also Bad Computer vibes to a lesser extent. Its alright, but I'm not really impressed by it, and I struggle to really fall into its vibe.
Tell Me: 7.8/10 I really like the bassline and reverbed synths on this track, and I think it's grown on me a lot since I first heard it, reminds me a lot of luv(drunk) but does enough to really stand out from that track, and it even goes on for a proper length, yipee!
