I was quite surprised with how much I enjoyed this project, although it for sure has its flaws. By far some of the best rapping from Drake in a while, which doesn't say much, considering how poor his previous showings were. Excellent production on this project, really liked the beat selection on this one. The features are kind of middle of the road, Future does a decent job, Molly Santana is good and 21 Savage is a straight snooze fest. The biggest flaws with this album is the hot garbage ... read more
Much a slower direction for Glaive and Kurtains on this one. On first listen, the first half didn't do much for me, but the second half I thought was super excellent. After that initial listen, the album has really grown on me. A lot of slower cuts on this one, introspective, reflective slow songs from both artists on this project. Production wise, its great. Strong variety of electronic influences, indie rock and even folk. Feels entirely unique, not bending to any trends or styles. ... read more
Surprisingly promising project coming from North West on this project. I actually really liked the production on this project, and the sample choices were pretty funny as well. The sampling was a pretty big plus on this project, acting as mini intros to the full tracks, which I enjoyed way more then I thought. The overall production on this project is pretty dang good for a first project from an actual 12 year old. The sound might not be anything super unique, but it shows she's got a good ... read more
Kuru's 2026 album is an overwhelming flood of amazing electronic production over soft autotuned out vocals. There's a good variety of beats, tempos and flows on this project, and it keeps the album interesting throughout. This is probably one of the best produced albums I've heard this year, Kuru has an excellent ear for beats and production.
Generally, he does a good job flowing smoothly over the beats, all though not every vocal performance is my favorite. I've really ... read more
Underscores once again stands out in the space as one of the most talented and interesting artists. While I enjoyed her previous projects, this one is by far my favorite. With amazing electro and dance inspired production under clean hyperpop vocals, underscores delivers an energetic and fresh banger of an album that is a joy from start to finish. Catchy hooks and some of the best production of the year, makes this an unmissable project for me. Highly recommended.
