Discography #11 complete
It's an alright last album, but still... not really good.
Stuff gets a lot edgier on this album, but atleast the audio quality is definetely better. The lyrics on most of the songs are absolutely horrible, though. They have been getting too desperate for some pussy when making this.
Dissapointing that Ice Cube isn't on this, I can definetely tell that stuff would be better if he still was, but oh well, Jerry Heller's fault, not his.
I can say the production here was better than S.O.C., but still, that doesn't make up for the stuff said on this album.
It starts off good, but they get too desperate for sex and just have to ruin the album like that.
With that over with, stuff gets slightly better, but still, the sex songs are horrible, and knock the score down heavily, so no, the rest of the songs don't make up for it.
Dre was probably the best singer after Ice Cube left, the verses he delivers are some of my favourites on this album.
MC Ren did just as good, though, but he appears less, and maybe his flow isn't as good, so yeah, I prefer Dr. Dre's performance on this album.
As I said plenty of times, I'm not a fan of Eazy-E's performance, but he has some alright moments there and there, but I can just tell it was his idea to make most of these songs about sex, that sneaky little... guy.
So yeah, not the best listen, but it has some proper moments.
