Thanks for the recommendation, pxcci!
Definitely a cool single, the production is cool, but as I know, you're more proud of the lyrics, and I won't be judging them, I think they're actually really cool, and just the fact of being brave enough to genuinely sing is something rare when it comes to self-promotion on AOTY, so that's also a decent plus.
So yeah, cool, chill stuff, thanks again. Keep it up!

Definitely on the better side of their singles, it sounds kind of funny, but also has the Rock-like production we all love, which makes sense, 'cause this was released just a couple of weeks after Bottomless Pit, well yeah, it kind of sounds like the average song off that album, just maybe has more repetitive lyrics and more wonky production, but eitherway, it sounds catchy and I had a great time with it. Interesting feature too.
Hate to be that guy, but I'm only here for the DG feature, the rest of the songs didn't interest me, like at all.
Don't know who this artist is, didn't know what his music sounds like and why is this album so popular within the critic range, but it was still just a very mediocre project with a couple of redeeming qualities, but being boring for the most part, which I couldn't love.
I thought - yeah, I could've just listened to FAB and get on with my day, since ... read more
Not sure if that'll always be the case but I like to think people who give this album a low score are trump supporters.
One of the most awaited this year, Vince Staples, finally released probably his best album yet (I wouldn't know), following the three singles released prior, I honestly didn't really look into them, you know, kept them for the big surprise day, and I'm definitely not dissapointed. At all.
Also, big shout to Vince for the cover, it's very true, yet ... read more
This is pretty much just the instrumental of World of Dogs with random samples talking about some firestarter instead of lyrics. That's about all I can tell you about this song.
Would've been cool to hear this on TMS man ๐ Unfortunate this song didn't make it but I can definitely see why, I guess it's more of it's own track than to matching the vibe of the rest of the songs on the album.
I like when Ride keeps a more low tone than usual, and this song has just that for the majority of it, and while the lyrics are pretty questionable throughout, I still felt a lot of great stuff in his performance, so this is a great song eitherway.
The production ... read more
Yo guys it's MC Ride here and I hacked hover's account to listen to every Death Grips single and rate it on this stupid fricking website!!!
Hey guys fooled ya it's actually me hover, I just started the review like that because I thought it'd be funny ๐๐๐๐ Imma be listening and reviewing Death Grips singles outside of their mainline projects and maybe some more stuff, like listening to that one album just for a single feature of theirs. Don't know, we'll ... read more
Mach-Hommy's "mysterious" actions lead to a lot of controversy because of his fanbase usually being unsatisfied whenever his projects don't release under prominent streaming services, and while I do think it's more of a cool artistic detail to make and release music following untraditional routes, I think we should also be able to listen to music without less problems trying to find it, especially considering this guy is actually a very good rapper.
Well, I managed to ... read more
Meal of the day - carrots laced with cocaine. Doesn't get better than that.
We didn't really get anything new from Freddie Gibbs on this EP, since it's still the same exact Coke Rap on Trap Beats which we've heard from him for quite some time now.
Well, I'm glad to have heard something new from Fred after a while, but if he's ever going to release an LP, and it's not Madlib or Alchemist produced, then I couldn't say I'm fairly excited for it. Sure, ... read more
I didn't know Canada was about more than pancakes, syrup and Drake. Oh.. wait... they're.... scottish.....? Fuck. (In a scottish accent)
One of the releases I've been looking forward to after listening to their supposed best album, I was generally impressed, I found it as a sign of needing to listen to more electronic music, so here I am, once again, bloody impressed by their music, and if I ever get the will to, I will definitely listen to more of their music. Yeah, I've ... read more
This probably won't be the song for it but I'm already preparing for the Ari-pocalypse (aka when you hear a specific song off Ariana's new album everywhere you go and you literally can't get rid of it, as known and experienced by many people when eternal sunshine dropped.)
Discography #24 complete
As we know, Edward Skeletrix released two different albums titled with the same name, on the same day, but only on two different music accounts, and this is the second part of the double-album, or atleast for me, since I listened to the one he released under a different alias first.
Anyways, yeah, this is pretty much the same quality as the previous one - it has quite a few bangers on it, a couple of less acclaimed tracks, but the outcome is practically equal, and ... read more
Another equally weird and confusing album to be put out by Edward Skeletrix, but I couldn't say this was significantly worse, just maybe less consistent than his debut album.
On the date, he released two albums with the same exact title, but different covers - one under his general music account, which I will get to after this one, and one under his alternate account "Im A Monster". Just the fact that this was released on a different account, making it look like two different ... read more
EDWARD SKELETRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIX
After he would pave the way for his career in the cight era, he would, after a while, come back as practically a whole different artist, settling on a way more experimental route, also having Rage as one of his primary subgenres, which would all make for a very good debut album released under his traditional and more well known alias.
Dare I say this is a mindfucking album? I may. It's quite hard to understand what the album really is about ... read more
The sophomore EP he released under cight wasn't short of dissapointing, but near the end he actually proved himself with some pretty decent beats, sort of saving this release from being in the red.
Yeah, it's shorter than his debut, so there's less to enjoy, but even then, the beats are significantly worse, and like I said previously, we didn't get to hear what he sounded like in his early career, but like we know it, he probably sounded like the average 13 year old, pretty ... read more
Next discography - Edward Skeletrix.
The legend's debut project was released under his early-career alias "cight", and as far as I'm aware, he was about 13 years old when he made this, which is a huge coincidence, because he's 13 years old today. Crazy, right?
So young Edward was out here making some pretty chill Cloud Rap beats, when he was still in the time of nobody really knowing about him. Honestly, for a 2014 release, this sounds quite ahead of it's time, ... read more
Lupe is one skilled hell of a chef and bartender.
Who was previously a newcomer would break through to the mainstream side of Hip Hop with his debut album, Grammy-winning single "Daydreamin'", and production and writing from artists such as Kanye West, JAY-Z and Pharrell Williams, it all made for an insanely epic, energizing and exciting experience.
Hope got the best of me, and surprisingly (or not) enough, it was a good choice buying a physical copy of this album before actually ... read more
