definitely a drop from bpj, but still a great jazz rap album from mckinley. it seems like he strayed from the slower songs in this album, but the beautiful and slower songs are still the strongest parts of this album. there are some songs that are too long such as all the loved ones and recitatif, and most songs with a feature, the feature doesnt do the greatest (specifically Teller Bank$).

this is an amazing jazz rap album, with some very beautiful songs such as the title songs, live! from the kitchen table, dedicated to tar feather, and sun, i rise, and bangers like run, run, run, the story so far, and tyler, forever.

least favorite song: mezzanine tippin'.

first album ive listened to by quadeca, and its absolutely amazing. such a cinematic and grand album, with casper and forgone being great examples of how cinematic this album really is. i found little to no weak points throughout this entire album.

deftones goes softer in this album for better and for worse, and sadly too many songs are too long, and if they were shorter they would be much better, but these riffs man

swerve city starts off with a heavy, crisp sounding riff, and then transitions into a melodic portion, and then repeated, which is a pattern we see throughout most every track in this album, one of my favorites.

this is kinda what i expected from this album, great production and great songs, and for pretty much all of it, it has great production and great songs

favorite songs: chains & whips, i LOVE the production on this song and the lyrics are really good, and that kendrick feature just tops it off. let god sort em out\chandeliers, absolutely crazy production, pusha t, malice, and ESPECIALLY nas go insanely hard on this too, really amazing song.

and here starts the downfall of muse, and somehow it seems like they didn't have a single highlight after this album. my 2nd favorite muse album behind OoS.

favorite song: knights of cydonia, love this song, i don't have much to say
least favorite: invincible, 2 and a half minute build up for a mediocre song, ending is the only highlight of this song.

kinda glad that these are throwaways, looking forward to GDLU

all these songs being 4+ minutes long really doesn't matter because they know how to keep you engaged throughout each song. these riffs in every song are impeccable and the album itself sounds amazing, which is crazy given it was made 32 years ago. truly amazing album
