I dont like the afrobeat approach, never liked afrobeats. I get that its the theme of the album and thats fine its just not for me. Quite disappointing to be honest, expected much more

This album has both disappointed and surprised me at the same time. Dave talks about his relationship with god and also does some social commentary.
Some of his best and deepest cuts are on this album, but I also think some of his worse performances are on here too which is very conflicting to me. This album is very much of a mixed bag, but some of the highs on here are absolutely great and some of the best rage this year. For example; Addicted, Habits, Maag Dump, and victory lap are great songs but unfortunatelly most of the other songs lack in quality, flow and personality.
Always ignored this guy on features but this shit is so hard he really surprised me.
