Update: I love it

What a peculiar album, I can't tell if I really like it or if it absolutely sucks. It sounds so devoid of life for the most part, but then picks it up right when it needs it. There are some Depeche Mode-y elements to it, albeit bleaker and more downbeat, but it does feel like an album that was ahead of it's time. I'll have to give it another listen or two to form a proper opinion most likely, although the album does feel like it drags quite a bit longer than it's listed 38min runtime. A weird one.
