This album is a landmark in music, because not only is this the first Deftones release in 5 WHOLE YEARS away from Ohms, this marks their almost 25 year existence (since 1995 with Adrenaline). Yeah this is perfection. One of the best hip hop albums ever made, with some absolute classics that are a staple of Tribe.
"Check The Rhime", "Excursions", "Buggin Out", "Jazz (We've Got), and of course some great deep cuts like "Everything Is Fair" and "Vibes and Stuff" which are just super good with some really chill beats and great lyricism. A lot of the songs from this album get outshined by All Star (which is fair because that song is pretty good), and I think that's a bit unfortunate because I love all the sounds of every song here.
