Thanks @TonyMuffins for the rec
Parts of this albuma re funny, but overall it just hurts my ears. Not too much to say. The outro is kinda cool though.
Just a fun song for the summer. Not what I was expecting after the guy's first mixtape but I definitely like this direction.
This is the one good think my horrible 8th grade history teacher showed me.
People Watching is nu-metalcore at its core. With tons of crazy breakdowns, heavy riffs, aggressive screaming and clanging drums, it fights and kicks through its 46 minute runtime rarely missing a beat. It's not all the same though, some songs feature slower parts that build up into absolute drop c tuned guitar bliss. Overall, this album hits home on all fronts and is something I'll be listening to for a while.
Doohickey definitely benefitted from some different interpretations by various artists. The original song laid a great foundation to build off of, and while Xorro and SCTRS both have areas to improve their remixes as well, Lacie cooks with this one. Overall, this EP breathes life back into a song that definitely could use some outside thought, and it turns out pretty good.

Inferno blends classic Boards of Canads hauntology and IDM with dashes here and there of new innovation, leading to both a familiar and innovative album that not only sounds great but has an unmatched vibe.
A perplexing but cool track that‘s different enough from IBMGTTF to be interesting.
An unrelenting, brutal, and exceptionally aggressive album by Converge that cements 2026 as a wild year for them. With Hum of Hurt only being released about 5 months after Love Is Not Enough, you'd think it'd be a less interesting album full of outtakes from the former, but no, it's rawer, louder, and more experimental than Love Is Not Enough, and I'd dare say flat-out better. Between the interesting time signatures, slamming drums, heavy riffs, and aggressive vocals, Hum of ... read more
A great mix of the Evanescence we all know and love and some new skank that makes this song more remarkable.
While Sanctuary is a bit repetitive and the band is running out of the same novelty they had when they first started, Evanescence's new album breathes life back into the band with a new 12 songs, each with at least some redeeming factor. The heavier aspects like the breakdown of Self Destruct really make this album pop, but super high-octane moments like those are far and few throughout this album. While it may not be perfect, however, it is still an adequate attempt at restoring the ... read more
Electric Callboy is back and with a single that sounds the exact same as the rest of the upcoming TANZNEID album, but hey, at least there's The Offspring. Not sure why they're on this song but it's an absolute banger. It may not be the most reinventive of songs, but the vibe is off the charts, and that's all that matters with the new Electric Callboy dynamic. The good times are, indeed, rolling. The breakdown is a little weak, which is kinda sad, with even Hypercharged ... read more
This EP is basically just your average 80's thrash metal project, but with somehow even less understandable vocals. The cover art is very cool and fitting too. Overall just a great EP, even if it all sounds the same.
While a lot of the songs here lack the same fire that some of the singles like Smoke and Duro had, SOMA is overall a solid 5th album for the big Skrill himself, and I'm very glad we got another LP. A lot of the best tracks here were released as singles, so the album feels a little watered down (except Anybody, which is a banger). I really enjoyed this album, and while it's no brostep, at least Skrillex is still making something worthwhile.
